How can I learn to do things for myself to make myself happy?

hey! i've struggled with an eating dissorder, and didn't relised that i wasn't doing thing for myself. and i ended up in the hospital where they game some great tips! um, one thing that helped me was i made a bunch of little cards, that had thing on it that i liked to do, and some thing that i didn't like to do but that would be good for me. i used to hate dressing up nice, so i wrote that down, i loved going for walks, so i wrote stuf like. go for a walk in the park todayand take along some music that you like. or go out and treat yourself for some coffee, and bring a long a good book. maybe for you if you like sports you could write down some stuff like that. try to pick things that are relaxing for you. and after making a bunch of the cards, make a rule that you have to pick up a card or i did 3 cards a day and do what it says on the card. most of the time i didn't want to do them even though i knew it was good for me, but when i did do them i loved it! um.. another thing that was good was diffrent kinds of therapy's like art therapy and such. it helped me relised that i love painting!. your a people pleaser, and i can tell you right now, that girls will take advantage of you if you let them have what ever they want. i used to be a people pleaser and ended up feeling suicidal, cause everyone was taking advantage of me. make a rule, ill only do 1 nice thing for a person today, so i better choose wisley. or something like that maybe. um... try new things! take time out for you, and work on ertiveness. to say no. practise it in the mirror, it sounds sill but my doctor told me to do it, and she told me it's what helped her :p. sorry if this dosn't help but good luck!
