Can I keep my horse at home if I'm very squeamish?

Getting your horse at home will help you learn a lot about caring for your horse. Especially shots at first. Taking care of wounds becomes very easy after a while. Your horse will accept the care better from you than a stranger or someone he doesn't see often. I am expert at giving my horses shots now. They don't even flinch anymore. Have the vet show you how to do these things. Most vets are happy to show you and like horse owners that will do those things. You love your horse and think of how much you are helping him. It is a good sacrifice that you make for your horse.
