How do i get more Yu-Gi-Oh cards on Yu-Gi-Oh ONLINE 3?

Please help i have this game called Yu-Gi-Oh ONLINE 3 and you start out with all these crapy Default cards is there a way to get more cards with out buying BP AKA Booster points? Oh and is it true that you can get cards for free by beating the NPC's? Oh and sometimes other people get a dif deck is it true that some players get dif cards than others?
