To vaccinate or not to vaccinate? Your opinion?

I say look at the large amount of deaths and severe illness from diptheria, pertussis and the rest prior to vaccinations. These diseases are practically non-existent in the US today. For many of these diseases like measles and german measles the only way to prevent them is by the production of antibody through vaccinations. Vaccinations along with antibiotics and sanitation are the greatest achievements in public health.
